Stop waiting until you love yourself

Let's have a brutally honest conversation.

You're waiting.

Waiting until you lose the weight.

Waiting until your stomach is flatter.

Waiting until your scars fade.

Waiting until your kids are older.

Waiting until work slows down.

Waiting until you have more money.

Waiting until you feel confident.

Waiting until you finally love yourself.

Girl...

How's that working out?

Because if you're still waiting, life is still moving.

Birthdays keep coming.

Bodies keep changing.

Wrinkles show up.

Hair changes.

Kids grow up.

People leave.

Memories fade.

And one day you'll realize you've spent years sitting on the sidelines waiting for permission that was never coming.

Stop Treating Your Happiness Like It's a Reward

Who convinced women they had to earn joy?

Who decided confidence only belongs to women with flat stomachs?

Who made you believe you have to look a certain way before you're allowed to celebrate yourself?

Because they lied.

Your body isn't a before picture.

It's your body.

It has carried you through heartbreak, stress, pregnancies, grief, healing, late nights, early mornings, impossible seasons, and moments you weren't sure you'd survive.

And your response is to punish it because it jiggles?

Be serious.

Your Inner Mean Girl Needs to Be Fired

Let's call her out.

That little voice in your head?

She's loud.

She's dramatic.

She's been recycling the same insults for years.

"You'll do it when you lose twenty pounds."

"You're too old."

"You're too awkward."

"Maybe next year."

Meanwhile...

Next year becomes five years.

Five years becomes ten.

And suddenly you're looking at old photos thinking...

"Damn...I actually looked incredible."

Funny how your inner critic never lets you see that in real time.

Confidence Doesn't Show Up First

This is where everyone gets it backwards.

Women think confidence is the ticket that gets them through the door.

Nope.

Confidence is what you collect after you've walked through it.

Nobody wakes up fearless.

Nobody magically decides they love every inch of themselves overnight.

Confidence is built.

One uncomfortable decision at a time.

One scary booking.

One vulnerable moment.

One "holy shit, I actually did that" at a time.

Stop Auditioning for Worthiness

You are acting like life has a casting director.

As if someone is sitting behind a table saying...

"Sorry. Come back after you lose weight."

"You're beautiful, but not beautiful enough."

"You can enjoy your life once you've fixed yourself."

That audition doesn't exist.

Nobody is handing out permission slips.

You're the only one making yourself wait.

Here's the Truth You Might Need to Hear

Your body has never been the problem.

Your relationship with it has.

You've spent years criticizing the one thing that has never left you.

Every stretch mark?

Evidence.

Every scar?

Evidence.

Every laugh line?

Evidence.

Evidence that you've lived.

And somehow you've been convinced that living is something to hide.

Absolutely not.

You Don't Need to Love Yourself Today

You know what?

Maybe you don't.

Maybe today you don't look in the mirror and think you're the hottest woman alive.

That's okay.

You don't need unconditional self-love to make one bold decision.

You just need enough courage to stop letting self-doubt drive the damn car.

Because waiting until you love yourself is like waiting until you're fit to start working out.

It completely misses the point.

Sometimes the thing you're avoiding is the exact thing that helps you grow.

This Is Bigger Than Photos

People think boudoir is about lingerie.

Cute.

It's actually about rebellion.

It's about looking insecurity in the face and saying,

"You're not making my decisions anymore."

It's reclaiming every piece of yourself you've handed away over the years.

The woman who disappeared into motherhood.

The woman who forgot what it felt like to feel sexy.

The woman who spent years putting everyone else first.

The woman who forgot she was allowed to take up space.

She isn't gone.

She's just been waiting for you to come get her.

Read This Twice

Stop waiting until you love yourself.

Stop waiting until you're smaller.

Stop waiting until you're younger.

Stop waiting until life slows down.

Stop waiting until you think you're worthy.

You have one life.

Not a practice life.

Not a rehearsal.

This one.

So book the damn photos.

Wear the lingerie.

Laugh too loud.

Take up space.

Exist in the photos instead of hiding behind the camera.

Celebrate yourself before your inner critic gives you permission.

Because here's the truth...

You were never meant to spend your life becoming someone worthy of celebration.

You were always worthy.

The only thing left to do...

Is start acting like the goddess you've been all along.
